Multicultural Literature is a course designed for college bound juniors and seniors, which emphasizes critical reading of literature from varying cultures and responds to it through discussion, writings, and projects. The basis of the study develops an understanding of the definition of culture, examines the factors involved in shaping this definition, and uses cultural identity to analyze the literature throughout the semester.
